TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The Anti-Graft Commission on Wednesday arrested Neneng Sri Wahyuni, a graft fugitive linked to a state solar power project riddled with corruption indications. Neneng is the wife of graft convict Muhammad Nazaruddin, himself a fugitive at one time before he was arrested in Colombia.
Neneng's arrest reportedly occurred, according to Tempo sources, in Pejaten, South Jakarta.
She had reportedly turned fugitive along with her husband on May 23 last year. She escaped with her husband and fled to Singapore, a day before a travel ban was issued against him over a corruption scandal. For a total of 336 days, she accompanied him and both were on the run, traversing across six countries.
She was last known to be in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
