In the 2nd ODI held at Vizag on 18/12/19 Indian team leveled the series by 1-1. Windies captain Kieran Pollard won the toss and opted to bowl first. Indian Opener Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul gave a solid start that led the team to provide a huge target for the opponent. Though the skipper failed on the batting, middle-order batsmen Shreyas Iyer and Rishab Pant showed their best in final over of the inning. Rohit Sharma’s 159 and Rahul’s 102 was a key thing for the victory.
Bowling performance of the Indian team was also splendid enough. Kuldeep Yadav got his second ODI hat-trick in yesterday’s match. Other bowlers Shami, Ravindra Jadeja also picked some important wickets. Overall it’s completely a comeback performance for the Indian side. The team will also try to maintain the positive to win this series.
Unfortunately in yesterday’s match Indian pacer, Deepak Chahar got in injured in his back that he bowled only 7 overs in the 2nd ODI. Due to the injury for the 3rd ODI Chahar is been replaced by the RCB pacer, Saini.
